How AI Processing Works
Query Processing
When you ask a question:
- Your query is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google)
- The AI processes your query and generates a response
- The conversation is not stored by the AI provider for training
- Processing data is deleted after your session
Provider Agreements
We have agreements with all AI providers that:
- Prohibit training: Your data cannot be used for model training
- Require deletion: Processing data is deleted after use
- Ensure confidentiality: Providers cannot access or use your content

Data Retention by AI Providers
Our Requirements
All AI providers must:
- Not retain data beyond processing
- Not use data for model training
- Delete data after request completion
- Maintain confidentiality

Aggregated Data
What We May Use
We may use aggregated, de-identified data to:
- Improve Adapt’s product
- Understand usage patterns
- Develop new features
What This Means
- Individual queries are not identifiable
- No business-specific data is used
- Statistical patterns only
Opt Out
You can opt out of aggregated data usage:
- Go to Settings > Privacy
- Disable “Usage Analytics”
Your Controls
Review AI Usage
See what AI processes for you:
- Each response shows which AI model was used
- Click “Details” to see what context was provided
- Review your conversation history
Delete Data
Remove data from Adapt:
- Delete individual conversations
- Clear conversation history
- Close your account to remove all data
