The Adapt Chrome extension can now do more than read the page. Ask Adapt to complete a browser task, and it can inspect the current page, fill fields, and click controls in the tab you're using.
How browser actions work
Start from the Adapt side panel and describe the outcome you want. For example:
- “Search for Recife and open the first result.”
- “Fill this form with the company details from HubSpot.”
- “Open the pricing page and summarize the enterprise plan.”
Adapt can reread the page's current state after an action before choosing the next step. It can also inspect a specific form, table, or page section when the readable page view does not include enough detail.
You stay in control
Reading a page and filling fields run automatically. Filling applies supported field values and dispatches the page's normal input and change events. Adapt does not itself submit the form, but the page may autosave or react to those changes.
By default, clicks pause for your approval. The confirmation card shows the proposed action and lets you Deny, Allow once, or Always allow future clicks on that same site origin in your current browser profile.
Browser actions are tied to the tab that was active when you sent the request. Keep that tab and the extension side panel open while Adapt works.
