Fable 5 is live in Adapt

Claude Fable 5, Anthropic's first generally available Mythos-class model, is now one of the models qualified businesses can evaluate through an Adapt pilot.

Fable 5 is live on Adapt today. When you ask Adapt a question, automate a workflow, or build an internal app, your work can now run on Claude Fable 5, the most capable model Anthropic has released to the public.

Anthropic announced Fable 5 on June 9, 2026 as the first broadly available model in its Mythos class. It posts state of the art results on nearly every benchmark Anthropic tested, and it is built for exactly the kind of long-running, autonomous knowledge work that Adapt does every day.

What Fable 5 brings

Fable 5 is a step change in three areas that matter most for how teams use Adapt:

• Software engineering: It handles complex, multi-step coding tasks and can run for long stretches without losing the thread, which makes building apps and writing analysis code inside Adapt faster and more reliable.
• Knowledge work: It leads on finance and analytics benchmarks, so questions across your connected tools come back with sharper reasoning and stronger evidence.
• Vision and long context: It reads screenshots, documents, and large amounts of context, and uses persistent memory to stay on track across long tasks.

What it means inside Adapt

Adapt is model agnostic. Every task spins up its own sandbox and runs on the model you choose, so you can put Fable 5 to work without changing how you work:

• Ask: Query live data across your connected systems in plain language and get evidence-backed answers.
• Automate: Run scheduled reports, recurring workflows, and multi-step automations that hold up over long runs.
• Build: Spin up internal apps, dashboards, and tools without engineering resources.

Available for qualified business pilots

Qualified businesses can evaluate Fable 5 through an Adapt pilot. It is a simple way to put the most capable public model to work across your company, in Slack and in the web app, with guided setup for your tools and workflows.
