Chats

All your Adapt conversations are now saved and searchable, private by default.

Every conversation you have with Adapt is now automatically saved. Your full history is accessible from the sidebar, searchable by content, and private to you unless you choose to share.

Private by default

Chats belong to the person who started them. No one else in your organization can see your conversations unless you explicitly share them. This matters in practice — when you're exploring sensitive data, working through early-stage ideas, or troubleshooting a problem, you shouldn't have to think about who else might be watching.

Admins can see metadata (when chats occurred, with which integrations) for compliance purposes, but not content.

What's saved

Every chat stores:

  • The full conversation thread, including all messages and Adapt's responses
  • Sources and citations Adapt referenced to generate answers
  • Any apps, tasks, or actions created during the conversation
  • A timestamp and the integrations that were active

Finding past chats

The sidebar now shows your recent conversations. Use the search bar to find any chat by keyword — Adapt searches across message content, so you can find a conversation by what was discussed, not just what you named it.

You can also filter by date range or by which integration was involved.

Sharing a chat

When you want to share context with a colleague, open the chat and click Share. You'll get a link that grants read-only access to that specific conversation. Recipients don't need to be in your organization to view a shared chat.

Continuing where you left off

Reopening a saved chat resumes it fully. Adapt has the complete context of everything discussed, so you don't need to re-explain the situation or repeat prior instructions. Ask a follow-up and it picks up seamlessly.

Deleting chats

Chats can be deleted from the conversation menu. Deletion is permanent and removes all stored content, including any citations and generated artifacts tied to that conversation.
